DreamOval, Africa’s leading Fintech, on 10th March unveiled Kowri Protect, a unique insurance product purposely developed for businesses that transact on the Kowri platform. This happened at a short private event for C-suite executives of selected businesses in Africa at the Stanbic Heights foyer.
Unveiled by the CEO, Claud K. Hutchful and CMO Charles Kollo, Kowri protect is set to revolutionalise insurance for businesses who collect digitally. The product is set to offer free insurance to all merchants on the Kowri platform, subject to certain terms and conditions. By simply signing up and collecting with Kowri, merchants can qualify to receive insurance for their businesses. This fintech insurance product is the first of its kind in Africa and is aimed at making insurance easily accessible and affordable to all.
Speaking to the press at the launch, Mr Charles Kollo said, “Kowri is here to transform the lives of the middle class in Africa – what better way to do it than by providing insurance for all, especially in these dire times? Kowri Protect is coming at just the right time to help businesses simplify their collections and be protected against natural disasters including floods,
especially as we’ve just entered the rainy season.”
